LOCATION
Located in the heart of the Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert region of Egypt, our company draws inspiration from a land steeped in rich natural, historical, and cultural heritage. This ancient oasis, where Egyptian, Roman, and Greek civilizations once thrived, has long been a cradle of agricultural innovation. Today, we honor this legacy by revitalizing the sustainable cultivation of date palms in one of the most important date-producing regions of Egypt. Our mission is to modernize how these crops are grown and transformed, ensuring their value endures for generations to come while preserving the oasis’ timeless connection to the land, its people, and the climate.
Sustainability
The date palm is one of the most important sociocultural crops of the region, intricately linking livelihoods, food production and environmental stewardship. Our company is dedicated to building a sustainable supply chain around this vitally important resource that builds a climate resilient food system and promotes responsible production and long-term viability at all levels of operations. We do this by implementing sustainable farming practices that promote the preservation and conservation of land and water resources, harnessing renewable energy, and fostering a circular economy. These practices allow us to balance food security and agricultural innovation with climate action, and demonstrate the potential for transforming agricultural projects into carbon sinks.

Majhoul PRODUCTION IN EGYPT
Given the favourable yet varied growing conditions around Egypt, the country boasts the highest number of date varietals that can flourish in its environment compared to any other country. That said, mejhoul has historically accounted for a smaller portion of date palms in Egypt compared to other varietals.
Medjool cultivation in Egypt was previously dominated by a small number of growers located in the Ismailiya region, but with the country’s more recent focus on the
development and expansion of the mejhoul variety, cultivation of the medjool
in the Bahariya region in the Western Desert (al Wahat) has significantly increased, where the agricultural conditions specific to that region
have successfully produced mejhoul dates that far surpasses the quality of Ismailiya produce. Today, the medjool variety constitute anmated 9% of Egypt’s total planted date palm trees.
